Zum Abschluss der Ausstellung "Interzone" von Christos Voutichtis laden wir herzlich ein zum Vortrag "The Simulacra of Public Space - The Work of Christos Voutichtis" von Prof. Dr. Alan Shapiro.
Vortrag ca. 45 Minuten, zweisprachig englisch und deutsch.
The artworks and installations of Christos are in the tradition of graffiti, street art and public art. His work is a leading example of interspace art: promoting a consciousness about hybrid physical and virtual space. Christos develops a fractal engine and a breathing engine. Each of these engines is an artistic strategy for the post-spatial and post-art transformational practice. Christos also accompanies us from the age of the media-advertising spectacle to the digital-informational screen and a new technological anarchism. He engages in creative coding, projecting fractals onto a building façade, the small graphic units as building blocks of a living interface of symbols that is also parametrically influenced by the specific conditions of the architectural space with which the software space merges.
